Five Events and Twelve Races for the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux 2025

  • Two events with three races bring the total to twelve races

  • Stability remains the key for this Porsche competition for racing entrepreneurs and young talents

Zonhoven, 22 November 2024. The Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux 2024 celebrated its champions last Friday, 15 November, at the splendid new premises of Porsche Centrum Brabant in Oisterwijk, Netherlands. As the trophies and flowers were handed out and the past season was reviewed, a glimpse of the 2025 season was revealed. Undoubtedly, the most notable innovation is that there will be two events with three races instead of the usual two.

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux foundations will remain the same in 2025. The competition for racing entrepreneurs and young talents includes a test day and five events, each on a weekday with all sporting activities taking place on the same day. The competition is open to various types of Porsche, namely the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup – Types 991 and 992 – and, of course, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport in its various versions.

“We are opting for stability in many aspects,” says Series Manager Lars Plato in anticipation of the 2025 competition. “We race on one day, a weekday, at the same circuits we visited in previous seasons: Zandvoort and Assen in the Netherlands, and Spa-Francorchamps and Zolder in Belgium. It remains a sprint competition with races lasting half an hour. However, there is a nice innovation: while we have two races in Assen, Zolder, and Spa, participants can look forward to three races at both meetings in Zandvoort, bringing the annual total to twelve races.”

From Zandvoort to Zandvoort

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux 2025 season starts on Tuesday, May 20th, with a test day on the Dutch North Sea coast at Circuit Zandvoort. This test day will be immediately followed by the first racing event on Wednesday, May 21st, which will consist of three races.

The series stays in the Netherlands for the second round, with a trip to the north of the country on Wednesday, July 9th, at the TT Circuit Assen. In Assen, two races will be held.

The third event is scheduled for Thursday, September 11th, at Circuit Zolder in Belgian Limburg, with two races on the program, just like the penultimate event of the season on Friday, October 3rd, in the Belgian Ardennes, at the Circuit Spa-Francorchamps.

The finale of the 2025 season will again take place at Circuit Zandvoort, just like the season opener. The event will take place on Thursday, October 9th. With three races on the calendar as well. The last battles of the championship will be held here, and the curtain will fall on what will undoubtedly be another splendid season of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux.
