Dino van der Geest triumphs in the 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux

Circuit Zandvoort, October 11, 2025. Dino van der Geest (Team GP Elite) sealed his outstanding season in the 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux with a dominant performance on home soil. The Dutch driver not only claimed victory in the final race at Circuit Zandvoort but also secured both the overall championship and the 992 class title. Meanwhile, young Belgian Arthur Peters (SRT) continued his perfect form following his success at Spa-Francorchamps, clinching the GT4 RS class championship and finishing an impressive second overall, an exceptional feat among the more powerful Porsche 911 GT3 Cup – Type 992 machines. 

 

Troost sets the pace early on 

Niels Troost (Team GP Elite) made his intentions clear from the start, topping both free practice sessions and qualifying ahead of teammates Dino van der Geest and Jaxon Verhoeven (Speedlover).  


In the GT4 RS class, Arthur Peters maintained his dominance by taking a fifth consecutive pole position.

Race 1: Troost takes charge 

The opening race went the way of Troost, who narrowly held off Van der Geest and Lennart Hiemstra (MDM Motorsport). Ziad Geris (Team GP Elite) and Janjur Monshouwer (Hans Weijs Motorsport) rounded out the top five. Jean-Pierre Verhoeven (Speedlover) and David Harrison (Team GP Elite) delivered a close battle for sixth and seventh. 


In the GT4 RS category, Arthur Peters once again reigned supreme, finishing ahead of Belle Rappange (Team GP Elite) and Ronald van der Geest (Team GP Elite). 

 

Race 2: Troost doubles up 

Troost continued his winning streak in Race 2, fending off Van der Geest and Verhoeven. Hiemstra and Geris completed the top five, with Harrison in sixth and Alfred Lenferink (Hans Weijs Motorsport) seventh. In the GT4 RS class, Peters repeated his earlier success, followed by Ronald van der Geest and Rappange.

Final race: Van der Geest caps off his title in style 

The season finale delivered a fitting climax, as newly crowned champion Dino van der Geest stormed to victory ahead of Hiemstra and Geris. Monshouwer and Verhoeven completed the top five.  


In GT4 RS, Peters rounded off his perfect weekend with another win, joined on the podium by Ronald van der Geest and Rappange. Bob van Inge (RFF Motorsport) claimed fourth. 

 

Final standings 

The overall and 992 class titles both go to Dino van der Geest after a season of consistency and speed. Arthur Peters capped a stellar campaign with second place overall and the GT4 RS championship crown, while Hiemstra secured third in the overall standings. In the 992 class, Van der Geest led the way, followed by Hiemstra and Rey King (WDP Racing). The GT4 RS final podium sees Peters ahead of Rappange and Marco van der Poel.

Series Manager Lars Plato concluded the 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux season by saying: 


“I’m delighted with how the season unfolded. The drivers look back with pride and satisfaction, and there’s already a strong sense of anticipation for next year. Starting Monday, we’ll begin preparations for the 2026 season, introducing new features to make the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux even stronger, including a new car-sharing option.
