Four drivers remain in contention for the overall title, two in the ‘992’ class
Head-to-head showdown in the ‘GT4 RS’ class for the 2025 crown
Zonhoven, October 8, 2025. The grand finale of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux 2025 takes place this Thursday at the legendary Circuit Zandvoort on the North Sea coast. With three races on the schedule, the championship battle is wide open and anything can still happen in what promises to be a thrilling conclusion to an action-packed season.

Following the event at Spa-Francorchamps, where young Belgian talents Emilien Allart (NGT Racing) and Arthur Peters (SRT) both took double victories, the season’s final meeting is set to deliver more high drama. Just like the season opener at the same venue, the finale will feature three races instead of two, meaning there are still plenty of points to be won, and lost, before the final checkered flag falls.
At the top of the standings, Dino van der Geest (Team GP Elite) leads with 337 points, but with 150 points still available, the championship is far from settled. Lennart Hiemstra (MDM Motorsport) and Arthur Peters (SRT) sit just 57 points adrift, keeping the pressure on. Interestingly, both Van der Geest and Hiemstra are competing in Porsche 911 GT3 Cup – Type 992 cars, while Peters is piloting a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. As the saying goes, “when two dogs fight over a bone…”, and Peters could very well take advantage. Belle Rappange (Team GP Elite) is also racing in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, though with a 141-point gap, her title chances remain only mathematical.

The fight for the final podium places also remains intense. Reigning champion Philippe Wils (Speedlover) is still in contention for the runner-up spot, while Jean-Pierre and Jaxon Verhoeven (Speedlover), along with Niels Troost (Team GP Elite), will all be aiming to finish their seasons on a high. The grid will also feature Ziad Geris (Team GP Elite), the Lenferink-Monshouwer duo (Hans Weijs Motorsport), and David Harrison (Team GP Elite), all competing in Porsche 911 GT3 Cup – Type 992 machinery.
In the ‘992’ class, it all comes down to a showdown between Van der Geest and Hiemstra, while in the ‘GT4 RS’ class, the duel between Arthur Peters and Belle Rappange will decide the 2025 champion. Bob van Ingen (RFF Motorsport) will also line up in the GT4 RS category.

So, mark your calendars for Thursday, October 9th, when the final chapter of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux 2025 unfolds at Circuit Zandvoort.
